10 Things You (Probably) Never Knew About Kelly Mantle

We really appreciate when queens open up to fans and show us a completely different side of themselves. In the series, each queen shares 10 things that you (probably) didn't know about them! 

This week, Kelly Mantle was announced as one of the 14 contestants that will compete on the 6th season of RuPaul's Drag Race.  If you saw her 'Meet the Queens' video, you'll know that she is a singer/songwriter, actress, comedian AND drag queen! Kelly's on-camera and on-stage talents have been seen throughout the country, but we wanted to find out who Kelly Mantle is when she's not in front of a camera. And what better timing to learn more about her than right before we start seeing her every week on Logo? Here are Kelly's 10 Things:

10. KELLY IS A GAY BISEXUAL TRANSGENDER LESBIAN COMEDIAN MEDIUM.  SHE MAKES DEAD PEOPLE LAUGH.

9. SHE ALWAYS CARRIES SOFT PINK LIGHT BULBS IN HER PURSE IN CASE THE LIGHTING NEEDS TO BE "ADJUSTED" AT ANY GIVEN LOCATION AT WHICH SHE HAS TO SPEND MORE THAN 15 MINUTES.

8. she WROTE A PLAY THAT MADE IT TO THE FINALS OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE THEATER FESTIVAL AT THE KENNEDY CENTER and STARTED HER OWN THEATRE COMPANY IN CHICAGO.  HER DREAM ROLE IS MARTHA IN "WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?"

7. kelly LOVES MUSCLE CARS.  SHE OWNS A '79 CHEVY CAMARO WITH T-TOPS, A TRANS-AM, AND A FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE.

6. SHE HAS A STRANGE OBSESSION WITH ANI DIFRANCO.  SHE'S SEEN ANI IN CONCERT AT LEAST 20 TIMES.  KELLY ALSO HAS A MINOR IN WOMeN'S STUDIES... SO MAYBE THAT EXPLAINS IT.

5.  KELLY'S A WITCH.

4. HER FAVORITE THING TO DO IS PLAY HER GUITAR AND WRITE MUSIC.  SHE'S RECORDED THREE ALBUMS TO DATE.  CURRENTLY WORKING ON HER 4TH. 

3.  SHE LOVES TO GO TO RODEOS IN DRAG.

2. Kelly ACCIDENTALLY SAW HER FIRST PORN WHEN SHE WAS 7 YEARS OLD.  THAT'S WHEN SHE DECIDED THAT SHE WANTED TO GROW UP AND BE A FEMALE PORN STAR NAMED CHERRY.  NONE OF THE ABOVE EVER CAME TRUE.

1. She doesn't sew, cook, clean, fart, burp or perspire.
