From Lady Gaga's Applause lyric video to the Marco Marco's Style Fashion Week LA runway show to an international touring schedule, Shangela has been going at 1000% percent over the past few months. Unfortunately, she werked it just a little too hard at the Night of the Living Drag event in New York City Friday over the weekend resulting in a broken leg. Even right after the incident, Shangela managed to get a message out to fans:

Shangela has received a huge amount of support from fans, friends, and family. She made it through her first ever surgery with flying colors, and celebrated with cake and Popeye's.
Been a rough day, but I'm pushing thru. My heart goes out to whoever has broken a bone in life. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone!
