Harding and Sahle pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor simple assault charges, even after the altercation was captured on video. The women were released on personal recognizance, and are scheduled for initial hearings on September 5th.

Both suspects in the case have now been arrested. 28-year-old Raymone Harding was arrested yesterday and 22-year-old Rachel Manna Sahle was arrested today, both charged with simple assault. The suspects are in court today, and it is now up to the U.S. Attorney's Office to decide if they will go forward with charges and face prosecution. Because the case is so high profile now, the suspects will likely be charged. The original police complaints were actually filed by suspects Harding and Manna Sahle, but Miles DeNiro (Heidi Glum) will not face charges.

This is truly disgusting. Miles Deniro, also known as Heidi Glum, was harassed and brutally attacked in a pizza shop in DC a few nights ago. In this graphic video, 2 girls beat up Heidi as bystanders cheer them on and practically no staff become involved:

Friends of Heidi are asking that everyone share this video so that the individuals involved can be reprimanded. Hopefully, this brings more attention to all the terrible hate crimes occurring recently.
