While the show might not be called "RuPaul's Best Friend Race," a sisterhood of sorts certainly develops among some of the contestants. It's easy to get wrapped up in all the shade, but there is also a lot of love and support amongst the members of the drag community. "RuPaul's Best Friend Race" was coined by Lashauwn Beyond in Season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race, and this mini series is a playoff of her term, modified from Bee Reed's Daily Dragsbian Tumblr series by the same name. In our first feature, we gave you some RuJubee realness. Now, we're continuing the series with another fabulously fierce duo: Morgan McMichaels & Detox.

For many, Detox and Morgan McMichaels may not be the first queens that come to mind when thinking of RuPaul's Drag Race friendships, as the two were never on the show at the same time. These two, though, have been friends long before either of their appearances on the show (seasons 5 and 2 respectively). It's no surprise that two of the fiercest queens in Los Angeles gravitated towards one another. The two are constantly performing together, taking selfies together, and even making out with each other.

Detox and Morgan's friendship certainly helps add to the chemistry that they have together on stage. In addition to being besties, these fierce divas serve a killer duet! Portraying everything from sidesplitting comedy to sultry seduction, these two superstar sisters shine as bright as ever when they're performing alongside one another!
In a recent Instagram post from their fierce Orange is the New Black performance alongside Lady Gaga herself, Morgan stated "I love this picture with my sister @theonlydetox!! I love love love doing duets with her, she is such a fun versatile entertainer and we come up with some shit!!, it was wicked fun to make and perform, there is also a special appearance by megastar @ladygaga!!". We love love love watching your duets, Morgan, so keep them coming!

Perhaps our favorite part of Detox and Morgan's friendship is that they're both such genuinely nice people. For as fierce as they are on the stage, these two are every bit as sweet off of it! While fans certainly talk about their performances or their countless show-stopping looks, they are also praised for their sincere, friendly personalities.
While we would have loved to see these two appear on the same season of RuPaul's Drag Race, it's not too late for them to be a killer pairing on a second season of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars! In our opinion, both of these queens went home earlier than they deserved. We want more!
