Logo's Clues To The 14 RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6 Contestants Lead To Confirmation Of Rumored Queens

UPDATE 12/8: CHECK OUT THE FULL SICKENING SEASON 6 CAST!

First off, RuPaul could not have looked any better in the new Drag Race season 6 teaser trailer! Yes, it's only 10 seconds, but it's 10 absolutely SICKENING seconds! Along with the teaser, Logo has released clues to the 14 contestants competing on the 6th season. Some clues are vague, but others confirm our previous speculations, pointing directly to some of the rumored queens. Here are all the clues and the queens we suspect they apply to:

Drag idol: Varla Jean merman...
...Ben de la creme mentioned in a recent interview that she has loved queens like varla since she was a teen

Though there are definitely 14 queens, we have not ruled out the option that there will be a returning queen thrown into the mix Shangela-style. We'll see soon enough!

I think I read that Bianca Del Rio's favorite actress is Pam Grier. I can't find the source so take that for what it's worth!

I believe one of the two comments that in life something about Oprah are courtney act. She mentions oprah in her song, "welcome to disgraceland" and I've read interviews where she mentions that she loves oprah! Team Courtney Act!!!!!

I get that there's a reddit thread about the cast. But I don't think anyone needs to exactly source what are groupthink rumors. May as well just put the source as "the internet" mmmkay?

I need to officially put some boundaries on the types of drag race stories I'll obsess over.

IN:

-Throwin Shade Girls YouTube recaps
-Chad Sell drawings
-Red carpet interviews at season premier
-Elimination Lunch (and other official Logo deals)
-Drag Official articles about actual projects of drag race and drag race adjacent performers
-If every rumor turns out to be wrong because queens were paid off to disappear and it's an all big girl season

OUT:

-Cast rumors (it is what it is)
-Tin Tim Recaps (I'm not in the mood for the "Cornell West of Drag" this go around, sorry
-Porn movie past of cast members gossip
-The official Logo recaps with that hyper guy
-Pandora recaps (not worth sitting through the commercial on Logo)
-And I will officially be over it if it's a teams or double elimination season (that needs to be out before it's in)

Can we just wake up in February now?

Well, since they usually put the cast in alphabetical order, I believe that Adore is the first one in the list (Celebrity Icon: Joan Rivers). The second one is differently April Carrion... Her name starts with an A and she's inspired by our Puerto Rican divas... These are the only 2 I can predict for now, but great analysis and predcitions dragofficial.com!!

Returning Queen = Akashia. The clue pertaining to the Oprah challenge is a reference to the episode she was eliminated in!

I think you're confusing Akashia for someone else. India was the Ohio queen that took time off from drag. Akashia moved to Cali to become more serious about it & perfect her drag.

But it's true. Akashia, the Cleveland native turned California Gurl, is the returning queen this season!!!! Hold tight for her revamped look!!!

I just searched for the Grace Jones celebrity icon and Mariah came up as having her as a #1 influence... I know thats farfetched but if anyone else has any other ideas I would be interested to hear them.

The reference to Grace Jones could be Chicago Queen Sissy Spastik who state her as her inspiration. There's usually a queen or two that isn't really as well known as others until they make it on Drag Race. Or it could also be Mariah Balenciaga since there's a rumour of a past contestant and she also has Grace as an inspiration. But of course these are just thoughts and I could be out to lunch haha

I Love this Seasons Cast so far..But I wanna See some sickening unknowns for once as well. Like Lola Honey,Candy Moore, or Angel Syrin. They are all passionate and amazing overlooked entertainers. Ru Get it together and Choose my girls <3
