As we anxiously await the RuPaul's Drag Race premiere on February 24th, RuPaul is teasing us yet again with a cover album that he produced featuring the queens of season 6. The album, which will be available on iTunes at 12:01am on Tuesday January 28th, will include each queen and The metbers of the Pit Crew covering some of our favorite RuPaul songs.

Even more exciting though, World of Wonder is set to release FOURTEEN (yes, 14!) videos on their YouTube channel to accompany the album. The videos will feature the queens performing their songs PLUS exclusive footage from their audition tapes.  Yaaasss, and gagging.. we cannot wait!

Not horrible, they all are definitely way better than Latrice's Weight, obviously I can't get over that disaster lol.

I love "Weight" dude! I can digest that song easier cause it’s about 3 minutes rather than an entire album. You telling me you don’t feel like voguing at a Popeyes restaurant after listening to that! Blasphemy!

No I don't like it, I actually see it as a scam and it sends a bad eating habits message to a country where half of the population is literally obese with diabetes and heart disease. All she does its rapping and talk like she did on The Chop but at least on The Chop Manila provided the vocals, there is no singing on Weight. Bottom line: while as decent human beings we are supposed to encourage others to push themselves and do better and more, there should be a line to draw between reality and ridiculous, the girl is a fierce drag but can't sing shit; not everyone can be a versatile artist like Rupaul who can sing, act, model, be funny, intellectual and a dragqueen all at the same time.

My gosh dude, Chill! Not everything these queens put out has to change the world. "It's not personal...it's drag"

That's so true and this album has its ups and downs but overall the album is banging and addicting. But its interesting what queens will put out to keep there name out there and circling around in the drag world. No matter if its good or bad its still music and its worth the effort of listening to it.

I hate to say this, since I’m a huge Rupaul fan and the drag race alumni, but this is questionable. I guess if this was for free I wouldn’t be disappointed as much, but $9.99 for what sounds like a whole bunch of drag queens at a karaoke bar? The beats are very poor, shocked considering Rupaul produced it. Everyone keeps on saying this season has the most talented singers, but this really proves that not every drag queen should pursue a career in music. All these songs just make me want to listen to the original songs! I may be over thinking it, but not one of the artist featured really captured that “fun” and “campy” essence that Rupaul does so effortlessly in his music. Sorry about it

Agreed. The beats are weak. And those who I have heard sing well (on their own YouTube vids) sound mostly terrible here. Kelly Mantle and Adore can sing. Others I don't know. This is feeling like RuPaul being a bit pissed over the queens doing their own singles after the show is over and not having a piece of that. I don't think it's intentionally bad but geez does anyone there have ears?

It also shows most of those songs were specifically fitted to RuPaul's voice and personna so don't translate well. Still within all those problems, you can slightly hear which performers have a bit more talent, if you just look at it as a challenge.

Magnolia is painfully flat. Vivacious is fun. Adore's voice managed to survive the best. Courtney's was raised in pitch for no reason. Overall, this mix of songs is exhausting. Not a good word for dance music. Ears bleeding.

Not every queen needed their cover RuPaul-ed by adding a heap of auto tune. Courtney, Kelly and Adore would have all sounded even better without it. Laganja ruined my favourite Ru song.

What happened? It's not even showing in the itunes store anymore. Did it not get released because of all the negative comments(most of which were warranted)?

Now that I have the album downloaded and I'm listening to the full tracks, they are not as bad as the clips would indicate (mind you some are still pretty bad).

Not the biggest waste of $10 I've ever spent :)
